How to explain the morphosemantic parallel between open/shut up and aufmachen/zumachen?

Creating Machen – multilingual equivalents, but they are not clums. How can one then explain the morphosemantic similarity in antonymic pairs to open/shut up and Aufmachen/Zumachen? What is it – tracing paper or the similarity of linguistic thinking of different ethnic groups?
