  1. The quality of thermoetics depends on several parameters: on the characteristics of glue, paper, thermal and substrate, on how the cuts are performed, how the labels themselves are stored. To evaluate their quality, you need to check a few parameters. Look at the rolons with thermoetics. They should be even, with dense winding, without waves or deformations. The diameters of rolls and bushings should be the same. If the rolls are wound uneven or not, with waves, perhaps they were stored with too high humidity. This can affect the properties of the adhesive layer. They are also affected by the shelf life. It should be no more than 1 year. If the thermoetics is stored longer, the glue begins to dry and gradually loses its properties. The more “fresh” the party is, the better. Care whether the rolls are polluted: there should be no dust, chips, paper particles, villi. Such pollution not only spoil the labels themselves. They also fall into the thermogram and accelerate its wear. Rolls should be clean. It is good if they are additionally packed in a film. It is generally how exactly thermoetics on the substrate are located: the distance between them should be the same and be about 3 mm. If there is a large displacement, this will affect the seal, and as a result all the labels in the roll can be spoiled. In addition, in the presence of shifts, the edges of the labels can be cut and torn. If you use labels with preprint, you need to separately evaluate its quality. It is important that high -quality ink are used for the preprint, which are not separated from the paper base when heating thermalheads. To check this, it is enough to stick one thermoetics to another. If when peeling ink, which is completed, the preprint is separated and remain on the adhesive layer, the quality is not high enough. It is impossible to use such thermoetics – this will accelerate the wear of the thermal head. The quality of thermoetics also depends on their structure. There are three types of such labels: thermoECO, thermotope and thermotope-SEMI. They differ in characteristics and purpose. ThermoECO – labels made of white inastic paper with a smooth surface, on which thermal -sensitive coating is applied. They are used for goods that are stored at a stable temperature, without contact with moisture or fats, without the risk of lubrication or pollution. The labels of the thermotope have an additional protective layer – a polymer film on the surface. It protects against lubrication, pollution, getting wet, from contact with fats. Employees of our company recommend using such thermoetics under difficult storage or transportation conditions. Thermotope-SEMI is resistant to lubrication of thermoetics. They are more persistent and durable than thermoECO, but not as expensive as a thermotope.
